A scenic beach with half a mile of white sand. Palm trees and lush tropical plants add to the beauty of this shore that is protected by a nearby coral reef. The deep turquoise or green water is calm and inviting. Lanikai beach visitors can kayak to the nearby twin islands of Mokumanu and Mokulua. Both are noted bird sanctuaries.
