Virginia Beach is a popular tourist destination with miles of beaches and plenty to do. The Guinness Book of Records lists the city as having the longest pleasure beach in the world!

It is located on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Many travelers get to Virginia Beach by driving across the longest bridge-tunnel complex in existence, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

A popular attraction is the Virginia Beach Boardwalk with its 3 miles of concrete walkway. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants on this long stretch by the beach.
